General conditions of sale for stays in guest rooms

Article 1 - Length of stay The client signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises.

Article 2 - Booking formalities After receiving your booking, we will send you a written confirmation by email and invite you to pay (if you have not already done so) within a maximum of two weeks (but sooner if the booking was made with less notice) a deposit of 30% of the stay. Once this deposit has been received, the booking becomes firm. By paying the deposit, you confirm your full agreement with the terms and conditions specified below. Please note that without payment of the deposit within the specified time, the reservation is not confirmed and, consequently, we reserve the right to reclaim the rooms.

Article 3 - Cancellation of the stay by the customer Any modification is only possible after the agreement of La Bastide des Grands Chênes and may result in additional costs. We inform you that in the event of cancellation of the reservation before the start of the stay, the customer will be due, as a penalty clause, compensation fixed as follows: - if the cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date at 4 p.m., the deposit will be refunded in full (excluding preferential rate); - if the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date at 4 p.m., the entire deposit will be retained; - if the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date at 4 p.m., the entire stay is due. In the event of early departure during the stay: full payment of the reserved service.

Article 4 - Cancellation Insurance Please note that cancellation insurance is not included in our rates. It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out cancellation insurance.

Article 5 - Cancellation of the stay by the owner If, before the start of the stay, the owner is forced to cancel the reservation, he must immediately inform his client by telephone and/or email. The client will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for the sums already paid. He will also receive compensation equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.

Article 6 - Arrival time The customer must arrive on the day specified in the reservation, no earlier than 4 p.m. (room availability time) and no later than 9 p.m. The customer must notify by telephone if, by force of circumstances, he is forced to arrive after this time slot (at +33 (0)603362478). If possible, please do not arrive after 10 p.m. Article 7 - Departure time The departure time from the rooms is set at 11 a.m. at the latest.

Article 8 - Payment of the balance of the accommodation The balance of the stay must be paid before departure (ideally the day before), at the client's initiative.

Article 9 - Change of rooms The owner reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer to a room of the same or higher capacity if forced to do so (planned intervention / defective equipment / etc.). In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged (unless the replacement room is of a lower level – without changing the capacity – in which case the lower rate will be applied).

Article 10 - Pets Pets are not allowed. By way of exception, small pets may be accepted, but only with prior agreement (we have a free-roaming dog on site and animals in enclosures).

Article 11 - Art of living and use of the premises In order to guarantee the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of the guests of La Bastide des Grands Chênes, respect for a certain "art of living" is required of all. In particular, it is requested to: - not smoke inside the rooms and common areas; - ensure the peace and quiet of all by avoiding making noise at night; - not bring food into the rooms (if you have to have something delivered or return from your day with something to eat, please let us know and use the outdoor furniture or the dining room). The customer generally agrees to respect the etiquette instructions that will be indicated to him, those that apply to everyone when living in a community and these general conditions of sale. The customer agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare - and assume financial responsibility for - any damage for which he is responsible. Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors living on the property are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them (special attention is required when using the swimming pool). La Bastide des Grands Chênes will not accept any liability for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 12 – Nothing

Article 13 - Modification of the conditions of sale These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed to have been acquired as soon as the deposit has been paid.

Article 14 - Data Protection Act In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. We undertake not to transmit the information you have communicated to us to other companies or organizations under any circumstances.
